Distinguished Visitors Day of EAGLE SPEARHEAD, in Cincu Firing Range

The Distinguished Visitors Day of the EAGLE SPEARHEAD Exercise will take place on Friday, April 24, starting 12:00, at the “Getica” National Joint Training Center in Cincu, Brașov County.

 

The exercise is organized by the NATO Battle Group Romania, with France as framework nation, and brings together approximately 800 soldiers from nine Allied states - Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Spain, Poland, Portugal and Romania.

 

EAGLE SPEARHEAD includes training sequences with a high degree of complexity and integrates various capabilities, such as Leclerc tanks, drone groups, as well as infantry, artillery and engineer maneuvers.

 

The purpose of the exercise is joint training, assessment of the readiness level and response capacity of the participating forces.

 Accredited media representatives will be expected on Friday, April 24th, at 12:00, in the parking lot of the "Getica" National Joint Training Center, in Cincu.

Media activities will be conducted until around 4:00 p.m.
