NOBLE BLUEPRINT 2026, organized in Romania

NOBLE BLUEPRINT 2026 (NOBL26) Multinational Exercise is taking place in Romania between May 25th and 27th, 2026, a training activity organized under the coordination of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples (JFC Naples), in cooperation with the Joint Forces Command.

 

The main objective of the exercise is the training and validation of specific sequences from the Regional Barrier Plan – South East (RBP-SE), by synchronizing and coordinating operational and tactical planning activities within an Allied and multinational context.

 

The planned activities include working sessions dedicated to planning mobility and counter-mobility measures, coordinating actions among participating structures, as well as on-site reconnaissance conducted in Focșani Gate area.

 

Focșani Gate represents one of the most important strategic areas on NATO's Eastern Flank, playing an essential role in ensuring the mobility of Allied forces and in strengthening the quick reaction and defence capacity in the Black Sea region.

 

Exercise NOBLE BLUEPRINT 2026 aims to increase cooperation among participating structures, improve multinational planning and coordination processes, and strengthen NATO's deterrence and defence posture on the Eastern Flank.

 

On Wednesday, May 27^th, starting 1:30 p.m., a press conference dedicated to the NOBLE BLUEPRINT 2026 exercise will take place at the Ghencea Training Area. Representatives of the Allied Joint Command Naples and the Joint Forces Command will participate in the activity. Journalists interested in attending the activity are expected between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., at Post Control of the 265^th Military Police Battalion "Tudor Vladimirescu".
