Ankara NATO Summit
Minister of National Defence and Chief of Defence Staff in Romania’s Delegation to NATO Summit in Ankara
Minister of National Defence Radu Miruță and Chief of the Defence Staff, General Gheorghiță Vlad, are part of the Romanian delegation—led by President Nicușor Dan—that will attend the NATO Summit in Ankara on July 7–8, 2026. The meeting agenda includes assessing progress on the implementation of decisions adopted at the Hague Summit, strengthening collective defence, increasing defence investments, developing defence industry, and continuing support for Ukraine.
